im on my 7th hatch. The first three were 100%. Each hatch I’ve lost more eggs to DIS during lockdown. I’ve had humidity issues the last few and some temp fluctuations. I have a janoel 12 and external humidity monitors. I have two and they give very different readings. Any insight is appreciated.

I have read on here that bacteria has a lot to do with it. Humidity has a lot also I had a similar question on her a while back and was told to keep humidity lower around 30 to 40% first 18 then around 50ish on lockdown. Other will know more

The first thing to do would be to calibrate the humidity monitors.

I can't remember exactly how that is done.... but hopefully it will pop up if you search for that.

By exterior humidity monitors do you mean that the sensor isn't inside the incubator?

The DIS, did they internally pip? Did you look to see if the yolk was fully absorbed, etc.?

Thanks for the calibration info. They did not pip. Yolk was fully absorbed in two. One still had a bit to go.
