Disabled Silkie In Need Of A Good Home-West Monroe, LA

Buff Silkie Bantam named Pepper in need of a good home, he's had problems with his leg since I brought him home at 4 days old (hatched April 13, 2021). I took him to the vet and they say it's a congenital defect. Despite his genetics issue he has a healthy appetite and is very friendly. Recently I've had one chicken that constantly tries to attack him if I dare take him out of his enclosure.

I've tried my best to help him since I brought him home but his condition has slowly gotten worse. I hope to hand him over to someone who has experience rehabilitating chickens and will be able to give him the care he deserves.

He mostly hops around on his good leg sometimes, I imagine he'll have to wear splints for the rest of his life
