Disappearing nine patch block swap

A border will give it a nice frame. Is the baby a boy? Put on a blue border and it will bring out the blue in the quilt.

minnechicks, I just love this it's so cute.
I'm Not a pro, but I think that a border before your binding in this case would stabilize your blocks more and draw the color that you want to emphasize out. Green or pink would be cute to me. Baby quilts get washed more than usual.

Ok ladies I need your help, the pics posted are 8"x8" I am trying to make a pillow top no bigger than 18"x18", the finished product will be a quillow., I am not very good at designing my own blocks, so what would you have me do? I thought I had my block in my mind but it went to lunch and forgot to come back.

the pic of those two is much better in person, and in the next pic, I'm not wild about the white in the block, but it is my disappearing 4 patch

minniechicks No it is not too boyish. I think that what borders and binding you pick out will sway the top more to the girlish side

minniechicks - I think the quilt top is fun and colorful. With a border you could pull out any number of colors to define it. It looks great already!
