and correction it's not PasoFino farms where I got the eggs, it's BYC username PasoFinofarm - website: www.nonsuchfarm.net

Here are scarf instructions for anyone who wants: It's all greek to me:

Materials:
1 - skein of any type of eyelash yarn.
1 - 16" # 15 circular needle
Cast on 30 stitches and join in the round. Knit every row until desired length is reached and bind off.

Bluedawg, I knew what you meant!

I'm so glad you got a good hatch anyway! Sometimes I think the ones that have the roughest incubation/hatching turn out the best. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff that's happened when my hens are hatching eggs, and have them hatch anyway. Then I try my best and be careful, and manage to kill off more than half....

No, He was never in the dog house. He's a great guy and just being a cat. It was my fault - I should have had the incubator in a "safe" room.

too funny. I had additional Wheaten Marans eggs in another Bator to go into the hatcher exactly a week after the crash happened. I only got 3 out of 7 from those eggs so go figure. The initial group were Wheaten Araucanas, of which I got 2, and Salmon Favorells, of which I got 5. So include the Three Wheaten Marans and that accounts for the 10 chickies in the photo.
