Disgusted by having to throw eggs away

You can feed eggs from ivomec dosed chickens to your dogs as long as the dogs are on heart worm preventative and are not "collie type" dogs. Some collies cannot take ivermectin based drugs, and some hw positive dogs will have a reaction, but otherwise it's safe. Just cook the eggs first, as raw eggs contain a component that can, over time, affect their kidneys.

thanks for all the advice I may give my dogs a treat of hard boiled eggs that would be fun for them they have never had that!!

the reason i dewormed them is i saw some little things moving in their feces and the stool was a little loose not to bad. Maybe i shouldnt have but i was concerned for them.

I've read that diatomaceous earth works well for mites if you put it out for the chickens to take dust baths in. It is a natural substance and the tiny particals are actually like razor blades to the mites, but won't hirt humans or the chickens. Also, it can be added to the feed to control internal parasites. Does that include worms? Anyone heard of this? Anyway, I've been sprinkling it in the nesting boxes, on the feed, all around the coop and wherever the chickens like to take their baths. Tractor Supply has just started carrying it. It should be food grade quality. Hope this helps someone.

Ivomec/EPRINEX kills external AND internal parasites/worms. I swear by it, and I worm twice yearly and pitch eggs for 2 weeks.

DE has never been proven to have any effect on internal parasites.

Most scientific studies say it's worthless to feed it at all
