I have a Hova Bator Still Air. I have hatched for 3 years in it, it has always done great. Last year, I changed the wafer. Temps hold, I use 3 thermometers and 3 Hygrometers. I calibrate, I put in brand new batteries.
The last two hatches have been ZERO!!!! First batch was my eggs, I had development in most. I did have a temp spike one day but only to 103 and not for that long, I still had movement after that and they grew. Lockdown, waited until Day 26, NOTHING

This time I got eggs locally from a friend, lost some for various reasons, but the ones that developed did well, went to lockdown today is Day 24..... NOTHING

My next step, is tear it down and bleach the heck out of it! This is so frustrating to have gotten 75-100% hatches for years and now nothing! I have to run to town today and will stop at the pet store and get another hygrometer (just in case)

that really stinks! Sounds like its time for a new bator!

We are going to build a cabinet bator, just a small one. Going to adapt it so I can use the regular turners in it and add a hatching tray. I already have a fan for it and plexiglass for the door. But too busy right now to build it. Will have to figure out how to adapt for emu eggs

This just makes no sense, when temps and humidity are good and eggs are developing to lockdown and then not getting any further.....
