I came out to give my flock some treats and saw my girl like this? When she walks she kind of falls to the side that looks injured and the wing itself looks more forward and drooped. She keeps stepping on her feathers when she walks too? How do i know if it's dislocated or broken? And what can I do?

I'm sorry no one responded to your post.

How is your hen doing?
Have you examined the wing for sings of bruising, broken skin, etc.?

Thank you so much for responding! I wrapped her wing up 3 nights ago and she's been walking around fine. I have to put her into the coop because she seems very off balanced im gonna try and re wrap her wing tonight and maybe see if she can stretch it. I did not see any signs of blood or bruising she had what loomed like a few missing feathers up close to the shoulder area? I guess only time will tell if the wrap works. I appreciate you responding to me! And tha k you so much for the splint guide that is so helpful!

Do you think she's off balance because the wing is wrapped or ??

So update on my girl.. I re wrapped her wing and removed her from the flock.. I didn't realize she would get picked on and now i feel awful.. she ate and rank the water I gave her and is resting in her own coop area. Hopefully her wing heals up .. she's a muddy mess is ot ok to wash her in dawn dish soap?

I'm glad she's got her own space with food/water, hopefully she will start to recover quickly.
How muddy and where is the mud? Is it possible just to wipe her down?
If she has to be washed up, I would use a mild detergent or shampoo.

She's pretty muddy I can definitely try and just wipe her down I wasn't sure if washing her would remove oils or anything like that not to mention I wouldn't even know where to start washing a chicken.
