dislocated wing from shoulder joint

one of the 3 of my chickens has dislocated her wing from the shoulder joint. I wasn't sure but had a gentleman at Tractor Supply who has raised chickens for years look at her and this is what he said. He trimmed the wing so that it would be slightly lighter for her. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. I am worried some about how she will do. She seems to walk slowly and does have some miss steps, she is eating well and drinking ok but cannot get up into the roost like she used to. I am hoping that she will be ok but am worried about when colder weather comes and if she is still unable to get up into the roost. Does anyone have any advice?
