Disposable Puppy Training Pads in brooder?

Can I use these in my brooder or are there chemicals in/on them that would contraindicate their use with chicks? Someone gave me a bunch of these that I don't need for my puppy.

That's what I use for the first week or so and I've never had any problems with them. Been using them for several years with both chicks and ducklings.

thats a good idea! I wish I had thought of that when I had my chicks.

I use the puppy pads too for the first week or two. They work great. Any longer than that I find they tear them up quickly by scratching.
