Well yesterday the hens layed three eggs and today i dont get one

, there were no hide nest that i found either. I cant wait till they are more experienced layers.

Hi,

I understand your frustration! The majority of my hens go broody, so i only have a window of 2 weeks every 2 month where all my hens are laying, and then its a couple a day if I'm luck! I'm trying to breed chickens that lay almost every day. I have two hens like that, so I've bred from those. In my last hatch, 3 out of 4 of the chicks were boys

Lol thats annoying i think that would make me mad more, considering you have to wait so long to find out for sure what sex they are.

Defiantly frustrating! I'm sure they will start laying more soon.

Though I have 10 layers right now and only get 2 eggs a day. C'mon ladies, it is not winter yet!

GO CHICKENS GO!!! Ok i am starting to think they are all on the same laying schedule, none layed yesterday i went out at ten to see if i had eggs and there was three in the nesting boxes all white so now all three leghorns are laying WOOHOO!! I need more laying through lol we eat sox eggs every morning so yeah cant wait till all 18 start laying. That could take a long time through i have two six month old delewares who are about to start, five four month old hens ( one austrolorp, 4 sexlinks), the i have seven two month olds (4 bar rocks, 3 rhode island reds. Come on spring
