Distance of coop from house?

Ours is right next to the house and maybe 3 feet from my teenage daughter's bedroom window. No smell at all, obviously, or I'd hear about it!

200 feet away, no problems at all, the barn and shops are out that way too, so I walk by the coop 5 times a day.
