DISTURBING craigslist post

I came across a Boston area Criagslist post where someone is supposedly selling chicks "just in time for Easter. Make great pets." It sounded disturbingly like someone was advocating for the whole novelty chick thing. I figured I would write and give them the benefit of the doubt and see what they were selling and why etc but when I texted the name and number listed (i was polite I promise) the person claimed they never posted anything. I texted them a screenshot that showed their number in the ad and they said they never posted it. It just got weirder.

Me too. I made it a point of reiterating that their number was going to be used and they were likely to get many unwanted emails. They did respond to me.
