I have a wire keeping the pheasants apart and the yellow golden cock spends all day walking up an down looking at the hens next to him
Should i put a piece of wood there to stop them seeing each other,
I ask as i am getting very few eggs from any of the pheasants and the weather is so warm i was expecting better results by now

Don't understand. Don't you have the cock in the pen with the hens.

If your talking about 2 different breeding pens, then I say yep go ahead and put something up and see what happens, couldn't hurt anything. That way he can focus his attention on his own hens, but I suspect he probably is already and he is just looking into the other pen checking out the babes next door and dreaming wishing.

If your not getting eggs it may have to do with diet or stress to the hens.
