Dividing up the run (Feedback needed)

Just for the confusion I seemed to have caused. The chick pen will only be used for 10 meaties at a time unless our cockerel breeds his hens. If our cockerel breeds his hens, I will be allowing a broody to raise 6-7 chicks in there. All hatched chicks will be raised by our #1 broody hen(She goes broody every year) and all meaties will be raised by whoever it broody at the time.

They shouldn't get old to lay eggs and mate. They should be processed (or sold in your case) before 6 months old. 3-4 months is the best time to process red rangers.
