Christmas is around the corner. Because my kids are grown, and we've decided not to exchange gifts amongst the adults this year, I've decided to make them all a basket of "A few of my favorite things".

So far ~ each basket will include my favorite candle, a microwavable heating bag from an etsy shop, a rainbow prism for their windows, a jar of Christmas jam (that I still need to make) an assortment of homemade flavored elixers: vanilla, lemon, almond, cinnamon - a bag of chai tea (that we all love), and a mug set that includes a miniature spoon and a lid that I've decorated.

These are the lids I've decorated, so far. They're really for my daughters-in-law and some lady-neighbors. I have a more masculine design in the works for my eldest son, who is single. And his mug will be clear, rather than amber.

The favorite things baskets sound great too, lots of thoughtfulness in them
