This past week our pond became home to a wild diving duck. He comes every year and stays for awhile and then leaves. I was just looking down at the pond from the windows and see that our 3 Peking ducks are now "diving" too. They stay completely underwater for at least 5 - 10 seconds and then reappear in a totally different spot than where they went down. Is this normal behavior for a Peking or did they learn this from the wild duck? At this rate, I'm going to have to restock my pond soon..LOL..
