Oh Perchie!!! Geesh, lady! I feel so bad. I actually have an extra one stored in the garage that's in perfectly good shape, exactly like that one. I picked it up last summer at an auction. got it for $5 and just couldn't pass up the deal and I figured, not getting any younger and sooner or later the neuropathy is going to completely screw up my balance so grab it now. I'd totally forgotten about it until I saw this picture. This is very much like mine. see those cross braces that attach to the legs. The bar that goes across from those cross braces is what broke. I have taken the basket and the back support arch off because you cant fold it up and put it in the car with them.
I use it for hauling buckets or grocery bags its given me quite a bit of freedom ....

OK... luckily I calmed down before I wrote a message to the guy that I bought the Leghorn eggs from.... because I tell you, he DID type
"I sent 18 eggs of whites and dark browns and a dozen surprise Leghorn eggs"
Well anyway.... when I asked him about what I was getting, and why the packages weren't sent on time:
1. I gave him the incorrect zip code, and that delayed them a day,
2. He said he did send one dozen white, one dozen brown, and then a bunch of extras.
They showed up today, they look perfect, and there are 23 extra eggs!
They were well packaged, first time for me getting eggs in pipe insulation, only single boxed.... but all looked perfect.
Now, how many are which breed,no way to tell because none are marked.
But, that is A LOT of eggs! Luckily, I moved out the remnants of the last hatch, cleaned up Sally, and moved eggs about, PRESTO! lots of space.![]()
It is gonna kill me... not having any idea what is gonna hatch until I see them. But at least these are LEGHORN eggs, so I will be able to have a blow by blow as to how many are developing!
