48- 50 I was finishing up my Associates degree at ITT Tech...  But thats all I remember.

Except that I could have taught all the classes except two...  Physics and Economics.

I even corrected one of the Deans when she tried to fill in for one of the Drafting classes.  Oooh I got dagger stare on that one.  and surprisingly the next class I had to take was one she taught on Design....  The only class i had to drop  because she didnt belong being a teacher.

Yes, that is what experience gets you. I had a Math professor with a Phd in math that couldn't tell one of the younger students why you would use imaginary numbers. He was excited when a couple of us older students explained why to him.

I love it.... I am a gear head... and this teacher started out by explaining what the various tools are used for fabrication.... HO boy... I stopped her in the middle of the lecture and explained that in order to tap a hole you do NOT take the tap tool and stick it in the pilot hole and hit it with a hammer...

I was nice about it but dang if looks could kill.

Then in the design class I was expecting methodology for pulling together machine desing.... I was looking forward to that class big time.

Um well no.... She first started out taling about negative space and how it was intragal into design considerations... Whaaa? Then i realized she was talking bout interior design for houses or exteriors of structures.... Not what I was expecting at all.

It was an elective thank goodness.

oh to be a fly on that wall...

Interesting story. It's sad when you're a teenager that's constantly correcting teachers. That's part of why I dropped out. I got really bored with the classes, they were really slow, and they weren't on my level. They refused to put me in AP classes because I refused to try in my regular classes. I wasn't about to dumb myself down to make them happy. I went to job corps and part of that was taking the same test they take in the military. I was promptly ask why I was there since I was so far above everyone else.

It's simple. Most teachers are too stupid to handle me.

Yet I act like an idiot.
