Jem, looks delicious! Perhaps I should make that for brekkie tomorrow.

I decided to re-pot one of each chili variety today. I moved them into 11cm pots (4½") from 9cm pots (3½"). That should give them about double the amount of soil to push their roots into. I've decided not to fertilize with any commercial fertilizer, so I put compost on the bottom of the pots, filled about a third of the pots with it. Then I took one of each variety and planted them in there, and filled up with regular soil. I didn't want to move every plant yet, I thought I'd wait and see how they react to it at this point.

I also moved these guys to the window instead of having them under artificial light. We should be having a bit of sun the next few days, so I think they will enjoy it. I don't know if they would have had to been moved yet, the roots have reached all the sides and some were protruding from the bottom of the pots, but the soil was in no way full of the roots. I just thought this would be a nice time to test the compost, and it's also starting to get a bit crowded foliagewise under my grow light. The Dragonchili especially is making loads of leaves, I think it looks pretty cool how many new ones are appearing on the stem too.

I haven't been topping them, it's not something I've done before. I'm pretty new to this chili growing, I only had a pretty much failed attempt last year. Do you feel like the topping has given you good results?
