Been on the West Coast all my life.... It may be a difference in predominant beers?

deb

They were big before the beer wars of the '80s. Balintine, Shlitz, Blacklabel, Hamms, Blatz, Meister Brau, etc all gone. Utica Club stayed afloat by switching to being called Saranac and brewing quality micro brew style beers way before Samuel Adam's . They are just regional now but their brewery is so big they bottle beer for other micro brewery's and I heard from a truck driver that hauls beer from there occasionally that the Guinness sold in the US is bottled there.

No Shlitz or Meister Brau? I remember those commercials!!! (Never drank them :idunno )

Are beer commercials still legal on TV?

I think I remember a wine ad on TV last time I was in a hotel, which would mean beer is OK too.

Now that we have entered crazy land... And MJ is legal in (is it 4 states?) will that be legal to advertise on billboards and TV ads????

Re PC stuff:
I'm still mad they put a female character into the hobbit movie (because God forbid there be a movei with just men... Oh wait isn't that most war movies?)
Totally wrecked the story and it continuity with the lord of the rings
Which they also messed up with girly stuff :/
Ok I'm over it...
But Not really.

I was a Silver Bullet drinker in those days... You know when Gillies was King and all the CW dance halls wanted to emulate them.

We even had one place over by the beach that had a Bull machine... It was called Monie Monies...
