tough call. Not sure, how much comb do they normally get? Turkey question: do females also "show off" their tail feathers when strangers approach their run?

how old? I can't see saddle or hackle clearly to make a decision from there?

They were born on April 28th, 2015. Sorry the pic quality is bad. Cheap cell phone. I still haven't figured out my ipad....? LOL! It's a wonder I can log onto this website. I am computer challenged.

Not even 3 months old and that much red in a big comb... sorry, I see a cockerel...

After I posted the pic, I looked at the (definite) cockerel in the background & noticed they have lots of similarities in their comb & saddles

DH is already about to shoot me!!! DD & I did not tell him about the new chicks & broody mama until they were hatched.....

I knew he would have a fit and tell us NO

So, somehow I kept the 9 year old bribed and told her to DO NOT TELL DADDY!!! Now he knows, but he is not happy. Not much he can do now.
