@hennible That was the plan... then we moved to Alberta. I have the training for canine massage and could easily get the same credentials for horses. There is no market for that in oil country.

I used to pay money for a lady to come and rub my horse's back.

She did a great job! I loved her!

I would have to have her come out almost every spring. My little horse was such a spaz, he would forget that ice was slippery, and with the warmer air gusts of spring he would dance about, then slip and sprain his hind end.

She would fix him right up.

Thankfully I don't live in oil country. I would pay you to massage my dogs... That just burns my arse, it's just dog, just to cat, just a chicken all life has value and deserves to be treated with love and respect... Oh Well to each their own... whatever floats your boat, just don't rock mine

Horses get ridden until it can't perform anymore, then it gets sold. Either to auction or just take it out back for a bullet. Alberta has a very different way of handling things

That's funny I'm in organic gardener but that exact argument/comment is why I let my neighbor use his round-up on my property... I don't want the Canadian thistle to invade his farm in the name of my organic garden...
