ohh and can anyone tell me what the appeal of a fried egg on a burger is?? I have been seeing it crop up all over the USA as a menu item in restaurants? I just can't wrap my brain around eggs and hamburger?

Because its Yummy.....

But I prefer sausage and cheese in my eggy burgers....

oh also I am starting to see signs of egg problems.. price of eggs are going up up up...noticed the 5 dozen eggs are twice as much as it use to be now..few restruants have had signs that they are dropping stuff on their menu because of egg shortages...in the meantime I have eggs coming out my ears here!...more then a dozen a day

Avian Flu.... the only sources of eggs are local.... It will take at least a year to get over the culling they had to do in the midwest.

Turkey is going to be hard to come by this thanksgiving too.

This week I brought KFC for the family. Normally KFC chicken parts are HUGE... This time the parts were very small. The price didnt go up... so I am assuming they are having to get creative to find their chicken.

ohh that reminds me saw dumpling mounting noodle yesterday.. I heard this weird flapping noise and some weirder noises and looked and poor noodle was being smushed flat by dumpling mounting her......he is easily three times bigger then she is

I guess I will have to look closer to see if she has started laying not sure when turkeys might start to lay? anyways if she does start laying will have to check the eggs for fertility... dumpling isnt supose to beable to breed naturally but I had read the double breasted bronzes when younger have been known to successfully breed sometimes.. so guess we'll see...if so I think I will hatch some of their eggs if they are viable

I would put em all in the incubator.... not risking cracking a fertile one.

I thought it odd also. I've tried it, prefer regular burger with the works.
I've also noticed cooking shows emphasis leaving scrambled eggs sloppy, Bobby Flay, many others. I think that's gross. I like a runny yolk on a fried egg but scrambled must be done, no snotty whites in my scrambled eggs.
