I found a puffball yrs ago the size of a softball yrs ago but didn't dare eat it. I sliced it open and it was white straight through and smelled like a good mushroom, but I was burnt and paranoid and didn't dare eat it Lol.

Here the easiest shrooms are chanterelle and funnel chanterelle. Different boletes are pretty easy to find too. Sadly, neither Karin or I like mushrooms. Karin loves to forage for them though. I try to tell her to pick blueberries and lingonberries instead, but no, mushrooms are more fun to pick in her opinion. We keep giving them away to neighbors and relatives.
Yesterday I once again ate way too much, and got loads of presents. When we got home, there was another Christmas present waiting for us at the door, from our chicken keeping neighbors.
