Dixie Chicks

Totally! By the time those girls start laying again I should have the groups set up and the right juices in the right girls ;) So excited already about setting my incubators but i suspect that i won't have anything to incubate for at least a month after the move!

Bama, I'd set the eggs that take the longest first. Give them a few days head start provided the additional eggs are super "fresh". I'd also do a dry hatch.

My best results with chicken eggs have always been dry hatching

My scovies will perch on my roof, in the coop they seem happy on the top tear of my broody pen, about 6 feet high, the rafters sit at 8 feet the peek at about 12 or so. They also enjoy the level of the broody pen that is only 36" off the ground. The rafters are too narrow for them I think, so they don't go up there. It might be differnt if I clipped their wings...
You can dry hatch ducks apparently.

Yup 35 days, just not descendant of mallards like the rest of the domestic ducks. They originated in South America and are closer to geese than ducks genatically... At least that what I've read.
