Good, but I'm pretty uncomfortable and beat up. Hard time of year to be pregnant for me, so much to do.

JWB my cats don't bother my chickens (or ducks), if any thing it's the other way around lol
Never have mouse issues that's for sure. Mine are not coop or barn cats though. Hope you feel better soon.

As for cats and chickens, ours is really keen on the incubator now that it peeps in there...

Yup 3rd tri, two months left give or take.

My cats love watching the hatching chicks, and my brooder was the best show on earth lol

Wow, seems like time just flew!

As for my hatch, final verdict is 60% hatch rate with 7-10 days in the fridge and terrible incubating on my part. 70% fertility. One late death.

Upon opening the unhatched eggs 3 looked like this. Looks like a perfect yolk to me.

Yeah they're crazy! I can get four hens and a rooster from PhordaBurds for $350, she did want $500. She just hatched and offered some culls with white toe nails on our state thread for $8 each! I can get eggs from her and Pyxis who isn't far from me either for $20. I should go for it but I don't think I want another breed, just want to use a cull rooster to cross with naked necks I'm getting in May. Too early to add birds now and we're leaving for a week at the end of the month.

Think I should get some of these duck eggs to try that incubator on. I don't want ducklings though, and we're leaving last week this month. I could see how they develop though and use them for balut....

Ended up not going back to dr. They said she had just left for lunch and would be back in an hour....did I want to wait? Notta. Vehve, I think I have walking pneumonia. Probably should just go to hospital. Hate to pay more $$$$$$ and hate exposure to all the germs at the hospital. Chest is killing me like an elephant is sitting on it. I don't smoke, so it's not that. Been coughing my guts out and I maybe even have broke a rib from coughing so hard. Fevers off and on. In the short of it, the worst is the pain in my chest and the fact that I can't breathe. Dr put me on antibiotic (z pack), prednizone, Zyrtec, inhaler, Flonase, cough med, and I've been using the netti pot. Most of the meds are gone, but none have worked. This is the sickest I have been-ever. I'm going on 3-4 weeks of it.
