I am guessing I cannot achieve 2,000 posts today. I don't know why I thought I was only 3 posts away from 2,000. It's not like I have to deal with counting or anything......

@JW12 , Hope your inventory is going well and that it's over soon. I have been through 17 years of inventory at the big box hardware store I work at. Today when my money counting system crashed & I had to count every penny by hand, I thought of you counting all those cards.

My co-workers were freaked out that the system was down. Ummmm, really? Life happened before computers right?

I used to work at a bank for a long time. Counted lots of pennies. And nickels, dimes, quarters, and bills.

Doing math in your head is something that's hard for some people too. It's fun to put exact change on the counter way before everything has been beeped through the system at the super market.

See that's the silly thing here is our prices don't include the taxes. And junk food and drinks have a higher tax then regular food and drinks.

BC, that's a weird thing I've never understood. Why can't the "including tax" price be the one shown on a price tag? What could possibly be the benefit of not showing it, other than making products seem cheaper than they are?

It is! Cost, tax and cost + tax is how all our receipts are broken down at the bottom.

Well, I still think it would be better to show the "This is how much disappears from your wallet" price on the shelf.
