Have you ordered eggs? I can't imagine what kind of shape they would be in traveling up there.

I can't get them shipped from the next state over without them being treated bad by the post office.

AL could order from Canada... Could you AL?

I have hjeard it can be very localized in how they are treated some good some bad... shipped eggs scare the bejeebers out of me but they capture my attention all to frequently...I used eggs I went n got for my new incubator and everything hatched

I wasnt expecting that anyways... I want to try shipped eggs I have no excuse now right I know the inccubator least works! right maybe? darn I need enabling here lol

I'm going to keep mine separate. It's going to cost me more than the chickens! The ones I have now in one coop, and then separated white giants, black and blue langshans and cemanis.
I mostly want roos from the langshans and giants, after the second yr and i have built up the flock all roos but the breeders will be capons. All extra hens will be sold or dinner.

Not only do they change colour ( I love chromatophore possessing animals ) they change texture... Very well, better than octopi...

Oddly this dyslexic woman can spell chromatophore

But not the word "was" half the time...

I love cuttle fish.... My son used to work at the Birch Aquairum... they had a big tank full of them.

nope.... I am being good....

I am resisting temptation (But only because they didn't have anything that I wanted)

Actually, I ordered a bunch last spring... how well they hatched had much more to do with how well they had been packaged than anything else.

My average was at 25%, but I had one set that hatched 8 out of 9!!!!!!
