the people poo part I have done som reading on.... because I was considering doing a sawdust toilet. The interesting part is if you do a urine separateor the Composting part is pretty benign. a cup with a funnel is setup in the bucket and the urine is diverted to a collection tank where its diluted with water to the tune of 5/1 five being water and used to water... use it on crops that like nitrogen based firtilization.Sam, that hot tub would work very well. It's just a bit of a hillbilly way of doing it.
Here's a slightly refined version.
Yeah, cooking the compost is a good idea if you throw that kind of stuff in. But I don't see much issues in composting meat otherwise, sick animals I might avoid, but other than that, no problem. And dairy goes in there too. People poop I might compost a bit longer though. It smells so bad otherwise.
actually my son was going to do a compostable toilet for emergancys in his mancavethe people poo part I have done som reading on.... because I was considering doing a sawdust toilet. But the composted solids can be used in garden and as long as you have a regular flush toiled in the house there are no rules and regs against using the compost on your porperty. As long as you dont take it over your property lines.
Bythe way that humanure site has choice of reading it in Many languages including Finnish.
