Beer, how dark are yours? I'm really envious of Ron's penedesenca eggs, they're beautifully dark.

Penedesencas can lay some dark eggs! I've had a few lighter colored ones but mostly like the one on the bottom right. Not as dark as some marans but the spots are cool. I've been getting a green spotted egg from one of my EEgrs too.

Black Soldier Fly... They are an unobtrusive fly, short lifespan, compost chicken poop and kitchen waste, larvae are high protein food source for chickens, and they emit a pheromone (I guess) that deters house/deer/horse flies, mosquitoes and gnats...

Ok they repel other bugs!? To cool...

hhh hot not luke warm? Why are places serving luke warm tea or coffee? To get a steaming cup is next to impossible anymore.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, we reached 500 eggs today! Although, when I went to check, all three of the ones laying at the moment had done so, so I don't know who took the prize. But so far weäve gotten 502 eggs, for 22.1 kg or almost 49 lbs of eggs. Not too shabby.
