wood workers and saw mills usually have to PAY to get rid of all of their trash.....  so, as long as you don't give them more work (make a mess), they would love to give you some.

The Easter Hatchalong will be gearing up when you return!!  Perfect timing to join the fun!! Chicken eggs need to be set on March 14 to hatch the day before Easter so cute fuzzies are on hand to welcome the Easter Bunny!  The thread is usually up on February 1st!!  Save the date!!  Can you tell I'm excited about it?  It is because it signals spring and the end of the dark winter (okay, not as dark as Al, BC or vehve but the days are shorter and I need my daylight!)! 

Speaking of......after tonight, our lows at night will all be single digits or negatives for the next 9 days, I'm talkin' Fahrenheit negatives here!  Daytime high on Wednesday won't even make positive numbers .....     -4F = -20C   for a high?  This is Illinois for crying out loud not the tundra!!

Well it was -28 at work but -33 here at home. I might be back in time for the easter hatch or i'll set a day late! Excellent!

one word of caution about wood shavings... Certain woods are somewhat toxic.... Walnut comes to mind... for horses that is... So unless the wood shop knows what its shavings are... be careful.... No Cedar...either....
