sorry all language is a lil slow to come to me this morning, it's just warm enough I can go out and fiddle in the garden check the chickens an egg today again yippy!! one of my favorite things is waking up and fussing in the garden in the morning walking round the property...letting the dogs romp..saying good morning to the chickens ect......I hurt like heck today but such is life and it is a gorgeous start of the day

well worth it, i used to be able to do 3 a day before i couldn't move, hubby built me a plucker from a kit(by the time we got it together, it cost as much as one already built &ready to go and thats with shipping included) i love it, so fast , in 4 seconds at the most, the chicken is plucked, yep, well worth it

thought I would make one I xcan use with my drill

@Outpost JWB how is their egg color? Just curious... I got a pullet that just started laying a couple days ago and hers have a green tint...

My CCL hen lays a pale blue egg, almost greenish tint like you said. When I sit it next to my green EE, or OE eggs, you can see the blue. I will take pics tonight if they all lay. Weather has been so nasty here. Rainy, windy, cold. UGH! And I have sold most of the eggs already. I did expect them to be more blue, but they are a very pale blue.

I just hope that the seeds make it to you... Not that I don't want my chocolate but I'm a seed freak and there's enough there to start quite the garden...

You have more seeds? What are you wanting to trade? I have chickens, dogs, rabbits, husband, kids. Name your price

@Amberjem
Cute little brussel sprouts! I had to double-check where you live (lots of coastal moisture) because there's no way they'd grow out here in the southwest.
Do you do artichokes, too?
