Dixie Chicks

Can you share the recipe of the dog food?

I cook up all frozen or busted eggs for the English Setter.

@vehve , the sprouts do look nice. I'm sure they will be happy either way.
Outpost I bake my dog food. It's called "West Coast Canine Life", a fully balanced home cooked meal, organic too. The part I love is that I know how to pronounce ALL the ingredients http://www.westcoastcaninelife.com/

And this is the treat book that goes right along with it. http://www.animalwellnessmagazine.com/cookbook/ All natural, the dog eats so much better then we do! But you know, it's so worth it! The dog is more then healthy, and has never had any major vet bills. My theory is if the food is healthy so is the dog.

My ducks stared laying

That is GREAT:weee Β  So exited for you!Β

:D

Sam, you gonna eat 'em, or toss 'em in the 'bater?

For now I'm eating them. Still have five chicks in the house and need to get out... I need a baby fowl break

400

The top two eggs are definitely duck eggs I expect the third is as well though it is sort of blue but I do have two hens that are purebreds and one that is a cross that I suspect laid the blue egg. The other ones are buff Brahma, buff orp. and an EE egg from my chickens...

So are the duck eggs with speckles or are the dirty?? Just asking because if I add ducks this year then I'd want something obviously different from my chicken eggs...

Oh yeah and I have begun to bug hubby about converting the big shed into the next coop!

There just dirty
Honestly when I first started finding them I thought one of my EEs was laying messed up eggs. But different breeds of ducks lay different colored eggs so that's worth looking into. I saw one breed that lays sort of black eggs they were called "black Indy" somethings... Lol
