you have it set up in front of the light blowing onto the water heater thermastat?? did you modify the water heater thermostats so it is more sensitive? maybe yuou could take a vidoe to show how yours is set up?

Busy day today again... took the dogs for a two hour walk, then Karin's dad came over with their dog because she was limping. Turned out to be a torn ACL, so we made a temporary bandage for that, it needs to be shown to an orthopedist tomorrow. Then we continued with the bunny pen, got some more work done on it. Made some door frames and we painted a bit.

Then I emptied the compost, and we cleaned the coop, I think it's been about 5-6 months since we last did it.

Taneli wasn't that good. Or there was nothing wrong with him, but I haven't cooked that many whole birds, so I decided to try a Jamie Oliver recipe. I shouldn't have put the lemon in there, it was too empowering. It was a decent meal, but way too lemony for my taste. Someone else might like it.

Were they all hatched from brahma eggs?

yes three of the brahma eggs and I just saw a pip on the cream legbar... one other brahma is chirping but no visible pip so far.....I started hearing it last night

I've done that with my home grown whole birds... Just turns out too sour....
