Peep, I have to admit, the whole rabbit show stuff is something I don't get. I like the utilitarian side of it, growing them for meat. Same goes for chickens, they give meat and eggs, I don't really get the showing of those either. Just not my thing.

I like horns, and that's a handy size. I've got a intact skull that has one horn left on it down in our outdoor storage, but apparently hanging a whole skull with a single horn and using it as a hook is morbid and macabre.

stick a bunny ear on top of the skull. it's fine

@hennible I'm usually in trouble, or is it I AM trouble? lol, either way I'm used to trouble, it seems to think I am it's best friend!

@Peep_Show yes, he's a keeper! And is the reason why we have a hard time getting any eggs for eating. Every time I collect any he says 'why can't those ones go in the bator?' And now he says 'but we have plenty of room!', lol. The best Christmas present ever!

I gotta admit, I was expecting to see a jackalope attached to that antler too when I scrolled down! Glad I wasn't the only one!

I love skulls etc. and used to drag them home when I found the tree planting all the time. My best find ever was a set of moose sculls their antlers were totally in twined... must've been rutting and got stuck together and starved... They were so heavy punky chicken had to bring them out of the bush for me on the four wheeler... He was my foreman lol.

broody somehow managed to get out of her box ....

did I mention it's -25C outside so eggs would get cold very fast....

So here's my little story...
I was out of every kind of feed I need ( except for a little bit of starter for the chicks ) no duck food, chicken food, grower... I was out of shavings to... So I braved the terrible weather conditions ( of course ) to go retrieve feed for my blessed critters... I drive past the feed store and see that they're open sign is still off... they are still doing inventory... The string of obscenities that came out of my mouth was nothing short of vulgar ( I have a mouth like a trucker ) so I drove on ( swearing ) and ran to the grocery store to get a few people things... On the way back home I thought I'd stop at the feed store and see if they would let me in, somebody's got to be there... He let me in!!! e
Even though it will probably screw up his inventory the man let me buy my chicken food etc I needed...he couldn't let my critters starve he said... So the whole point of this silly story is what can I get a feed store owner as a thank you present?
