The detentions are the connections between dog kennel panels. Or indications of a hinge. The dog kennel panels are six feet long by six feet tall. I have several that are just plain without a door and some of those can be twelve feet long. I like the modular construction. And I can put them together with just a socket wrench.... Period. So If I wanted to take one of those six by twelve patitions and turn it into a twelve by twelve partition.... Easy peasy even once its all together.... just un bolt the clamps and move one wall up against the next and bolt them in place there.

Is it possible, or how would you add insulation for that style for colder areas?

Hubby would love this, finally I could construct something without power tools!

If hubby is able to take next Friday off we are looking at another home builder. The company is 1 1/2hrs away but prices and floor plans look very promising. You are welcome to come over for the bon fire when we burn down the current house!

If hubby is able to take next Friday off we are looking at another home builder. The company is 1 1/2hrs away but prices and floor plans look very promising. You are welcome to come over for the bon fire when we burn down the current house!

I love bon fires....haha will the hot tub be up too? you must be excited... I loved going over floor plans idea's with places with @Sharps Big 50 haha course I probably drove him crazy with my idea's.....gosh we had all the furniture measured and to scale for checking out floor plans and stuff...myself I am more of a hands on type of area planner...with his engineer training and stuff is very third dymentional

I have to poke something to death taking it apart putting it back together understanding the working dynamics..

whats a pipe corral? @NotAFarm I wanted to ask what kind of fish tank heater did you get a glass one or a ceramic one?

Umm....not sure...it is a small 7 W heater my DH wasn't using. It has a rubber disc that is meant to be buried in the gravel of a small aquarium. I don't think it will be big enough for the brutal cold but might work for night time temps that are borderline.

As much as I love the idea of having a new house by fall I can only look at floor plans for so long. But it's fun, I wish we could jump ahead by 6 months just to see where we are. Patience is so hard!!

Our cottage has a bit of history to it. My plan is to list it on infomall (like kijiji, but local just for our area), see if someone wants it. If no one wants it within a month, "Hello Fire Department!" They occasionally do controlled burns as practise.
