I highly recommend watching Food Inc, I think it is still on netflix. It's sick what is going on with our food. I watched it last year and then ordered our chickens Lol! The plan is in the near future to raise and grow the majority of our family's food. We might not be able to do everything, but every little bit helps.

but I agree about growing your own food and everything..not only does it give you something awesome to do it's very good for the soul.. One of the major changes I did when I got out of the hospital was to drastically reduce processed food intake......... not that I had a ton of process food but I had some still.. it might be a bit more work at times and I might not be 100% on it but I do very well and it has made a big difference

That's why my next stop is a cow... I drink up to 3 L some days...

Woody Harrelson has a homestead in Hawaii and he grows 96% of his own food... **** vegan lol

 , NY laws  they just seem to be getting more n more twisted up...but I find it hard to understand how ppl are throwing their personal liberties away

Only a few counties in upstate NY voted for him outside of NYC. But they have the population, so us upstate 'backwoods hillbilly's' have to live with NYC laws. And high taxes and unemployment. We have thought about moving, but this is our home. Maybe when we retire we'll move up by Alaskan.

upstate new york (except for y'alls bloody cold winters) was on my places want to be living lol, but the last few years NY laws have been so far up the feds pocketbooks...I just have to shake my head in amazement..............I mean really make drinking a big gulp against the law? I'd be ready to grab me some tea barrels and toss em into the bay
