Warm indeed. It was only -6 today nice for the birds.

We are supposed to be getting a very unusual +3 by the end of next week. Wa enough to open the coop door again!

wooohoo my guys with all that digging and moving dirt they were doing for the shop/garage foundation I managed to talk em into helping move some crush n stuff so could get my pathway to the chicken coop set up

they were awesome! I ran out of crush though

ahh well probly have 12 tons of it in a couple days I can sneak a couple wheeel barrows off for my own lil chicken path project!

I'll get better pictures tomorrow when there is daylight again lol

Caught my rooster in one of the nest boxes. He looked comfy..

Wow, just got scared, made a 1984 comment on OFH , took a break and turned phone back on got on BYC and there was another pm !!!
Woohoo! It was a false alarm! The woman hatching out cemani naked neck crosses just hatched out one that is super black even the toenails!
And she said she's saving it for me! Woohoo! She hatched out some for the new years hatch along also.

I sat down with my son oh two years ago and we all read 1984 together...was part of my making sure he was exposed to some classical reading materials.............. this school district here has crazy book ban list...

well everyone has worked so hard here today think I am gonna kidnap @Sharps Big 50 and take us all out to eat at the casino.. yummy it's all you can eat dungeon, snow, and king crab night and prime rib !
