Sam, yeah, my plant starter is equipped with a purple light.

This is what I start our plants in. Heat mat goes under it, and I keep the humidity way above the rest of the apartment, and it's a nice 27-29C in there. I would need to find a suitable container for the bottom so that I could do wick watering this year though.

Neat. I like painting wet on wet. I have wanted to paint on glass ( I've done a bit, commercial Xmas stuff on store window ) never thought to use nail polish.

Nice set up vehve... By big beautiful light is in storage for now :(
We should really set it up in the spare room. Agh I need a nursery house for the number of start id like to have.. Guess it's time to short out my seeds, and start planning.

man when we were on san juan we stopped at the local ace hardware store..they had these killer plant stands for their plant display stand I was drooling over for my greenhouse...had three shelves and two bars on top would work great for vining or hanging plants..........and was metal so it'd last........I really have to address how I wanna set it up this spring.......I have some reclaimed shelving int here I found free around n about places atm... and I want to save a corner in the greenhouse where I can put this teak table just to sit in there maybe drink some coffee/tea enjoy the outside without getting rained on............with all the plants around I dunno if it will work or I will set it up properly but I thought be nice spot to sit outside n avoid the elements n be around greengrowing stuff

Thats what I want to do at my house.... We almost always have sun. I want to start with the well pump.... just a small assembly that can put out enough wattage to run it during the day.

Then another setup up at the house to run the booster pump. for water pressure in the house.

My well pumps water a thousand feet from the well head to the house, directly. Oh and it raises the water probably at least fifty feet. I have a water tank at the house designated for fire and its only plumbed to the hosebibs around the house not to the house directly....

What I want to do is have the well serve the big tank only... to save wear and tear on the well pump. And keep the tank full. The booster pump from there puts out enough pressure water comes out of the hoses like a fire hose. So I am certain it can handle the inter workings of a house.

So solar panels at the well and solar panels at the house for the booster pump.

From there I want more panels to keep the refrigerator running and possibly run the washer and dryer.... The rest I can live without .... I heat with wood and cook with propane The dryer is propane as well.

I dont want to get into electricity storage so any excess will be allowed to go back to the grid. hopefully to negate any power use I use off the grid.

Then there is always wind. it blows here all the time.
