ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh I dont know anything bout the houdan though

He is always up to no good! (houdan) He is very flighty, He is very aggressive towards humans and animals. He likes to mate about 300 times per day.

We crossed him with a brahma, which are very docile, friendly, not flighty, often go broody, and make excellent yard candy to look at!

ya I been drooling over your buff brahma's... cant do flighty birds though... I only want sweet gentle chickens... my grandma's mean chickens really left a lasting impression on me

At $4.50 a dozen there just covering a bit more than food and litter. It will take them years to pay for the new coop and the incubator. But they feed us and keep me and my toddler entertained
we have been selling fertile brahma hatching eggs for $15 per dozen. We have probably sold every single 1 they have ever laid except the ones we hatched.

They bite when I try and snatch eggs out from under them... Of course... But I have a few mixed breed hens that don't, they'll let me flip them right off the eggs without a fight... I like that trait

I'll have to try that with my buff orps... Only breed I have males and females of... Or "amerucanas" as in hatchery quality ones any body in the know would call an EE... Maybe the feed store would sell chicks for me...
