Dixie Chicks

Sam, close, but no cigar. Viiru and Virpi. Virpi is still with us, Viiru was killed by a hawk, and Veera by a bloodthirsty dachshund.

Bamboo, sorry, no poop stats to share. Actually, the feed conversion rate would be interesting, but since we also feed scraps and I didn't start right away, it would be off a bit.

No worries guys, I don't really get offended. Mock away.
I'd rather not know how much I have spent, or how many eggs I have gotten so far. I do think I will try to keep some sort of stats on my new chicks I plan on putting in the freezer just to see if all my cost saving plans going with a heavy slow growing heritage breeds vs. compared to Cornish cross frankenchickens.
it is best not to know.....

I am in awe of people like you @vehve . Your attention to detail and the "need to know" is a worthy thing. My DH is more like that.....let's just say opposites attract in our case!

I'm more like @Beer can and @Alaskan , it is best not to know.

That was just what I thought, deb!

Those flats look like they would suit the system I'm planning too. I'll have to keep my eyes open next time I'm somewhere that might carry those.

i liked the system.... but am curious do they pour off the water that collects in the bottom tray? Or do the sprouts absorb it all and the rest just evaporates....?

Really need to go back to bed.
