Dixie Chicks

did you contact sandhill?

Emailed. No word yet. I don't feel as bad now, been thinking if they can't fill my order I'll just do what I should've done in the first place. I mainly want the white jersey giants, I was checking out the national jersey giant club website, there is only three breeders on their site that have whites, one in Pennsylvania, if SandHill is a no I'll contact the breeder in PA, probably has better stock anyway.

they dont have a phone number or anything?

All caught up after a trip to get different brand of feed.

Flowers and bees and other pollinators...oh my!
Scrumptious flower pics.

I don't know if will be brave enough to buy feed store or TYC chicks again any time soon. New Hatch and the TYC Astralorp seem to be doing great. I put them back on full "Coyote Creek" organic starter...out of a feed mill in Texas. Anyone know about that feed? It is more protein than what was on the Neutrina (18), I think the Coyote Creek is 21.5 % protein.

What I looked for when I got the Austrolop at TSC was "location in tub"...stance, activity level, eye...clear? bright? (is there an Eisenstein look to the eye?) Cere..is it clean, crusted, runny, breathing normal?. Panting when others are not? Size...relative to the others....if straight run...not the biggest, not the smallest. If sexed pen...maybe one of the big ones. Shanks...straight? Toes...Curled? and then I watch behavior to see if it is pecking others.. If Anyone is sneezing or sick looking in the whole tub...I Pass. Then when helper picks up a chick for me....I as her to turn it over, check the tummy and check the bottom of the feet...tummy (navel ok?) is it crusted like it got matted in wet in shipment and has since dried? Feet...right color for bottom of feet for breed? .... and general health...all of it figures in. :)

Bamadude, I'm ordering a 1/4 ounce of 2 kinds of kale and some red okra, I will send some to you at some point if you like.

Im good on kale for now. People on here have sent me more kale seeds than I can plant.
We ordered burgundy okra seeds off ebay last year. We got 2 pods total. We grew them in the same row as our clemson spinless okra (same variety that I sent u). The burgundy plants didnt do anything. The clemson spineless got 7 ft tall. We were harvesting about a pound per day.
We have grown burgundy (red) okra. We love it and it looks ornamental when flowering. Turns green when cooked though. Has a sweet taste.
Yes I would love some of those seeds.

I still have our old dish.... the mesh parts are starting to rip out... I still haven't figured out how to reuse it.

I kinda wanted to make it into a Gazebo kinda thing... but then I would need sturdy supports... (read, store bought lumber

) I also considered a BBQ area, ...

too small for a chicken coop
