I get a ridiculous 5% discount on lumber, plus whatever I can negotiate... Actually, I negotiated the prices down quite nicely last time, but not today... I did find latches, locks and hinges really cheap though. They had a shelf with them, all 50% off. So I bought some in reserve too. I also got all of the remaining lumber we need... at least I hope I did. I'm going to try and squeeze the pen as far along as possible tomorrow. I'm guessing the roof is about an hour or two, floor half an hour, walls maybe an hour... but the darn doors will take ages to make. And they're so boring to make. And then you have to watch paint dry... blah.

Nice. We get 10%, but I sure can't haggle the price down... I don't even try...

I have an account which automatically gives me 5% on lumber. But I usually try to negotiate the prices a bit before that, and don't mention the account until I'm checking out. Sometimes I've managed to talk down the price by 30-40%. But that's pretty rare.

You should never sell me anything. I'm not a nice customer, I tend to get all pesky about respecting warranties and the buyers rights.

so the chicks are firmly planted under violet they arent moving coming out or nada........violet is just contently sitting on em...why do I feel like I am incubating again?
