Got some great info. I had looked at the Foscams too. Nomorerack.com has had some really good prices on them as well as Amazon (I'm already a Prime member which gives me free ship and extra protection). I also don't have the power problem, with our weather extremes I had to make sure we could safely heat the coop. My coop is also within range of the house wifi. Thank you again for the help!

Game cams are an idea too, some of them can be equipped with a SIM card, and you can access them remotely, anywhere. They can be a bit expensive though.

Guy I work with has one that emails him pics to his phone, he has to pay a monthly service fee. A milk truck driver has one on his driveway for security, and another on his treestand. We were talking about it because I said mine shows faint red lights for the infrared nighttime flash, his is the newer style with invisible blacklight. He owns 100+acres and separate road that goes out to his deer stand. He was emailed pics of two guys jacklighting a nice buck by his stand, State Troopers and a Game Warden met them at the only way out. Lol! I read about it in our NY hunting newspaper where they have a section of arrests and convictions of poachers, and other idiot lawbreakers.

oh i hope not. For me, I just want to see them when I'm inside the house so if there IS a problem...and I just love them so much.

I get that totally @tntchix ... I smoke and I promsied myself wouldnt smoek in the new house... so when I go outside to smoke I always go look at the chickens.......haha on days when it's so nasty I didnt wanna be out woulda been nice to peek on a cam n check em out

I was wondering about that as the cream legbar are auto sexing have a sex gene that is passed on  can they still be auto sexed  when out crossed if they carry the sexing gene?

Idk. But u qualify for the cream legbar hybrid thread now. Post some pics there. Im subscribed there too. I wanna learn
