Nah, the wife isn't on, she just stalks me.

I used to be big into the political sites, news, magazines, local newspaper, thousands of of posts, pre BYC I try to stay away from them now. And our small town has a website. I used my real name on our town site, the wife made me stop, had to change to a 'nom de plume' she was afraid someone was going to burn our house down. I thought it was fun getting people all fired up.

Here's most of the flock. Missing are two Icelandics and the Araucana hen.
All Icelandics pictured except the two orange hens, they're German Line New Hampshires.

2 year old Icelandic hen from a fellow BYCer's stock. Her eggs are in the incubator.

One of my original Icelandic hens, she will be 5 in May.

...and one of the barn kitties, Sarabi:

So in looking for birds to replace what was killed when the tree fell on the coop..... I now have 8 black jersey Giant pullets. They are about a week old.

I was wondering what thread I read that on. A few people had big losses this winter. One person here in NY lost like 20 chickens to a pair of her neighbors dogs. The woman I'm getting cemani crosses from lost a whole bunch of chickens and ducks and all her roosters but one, to a weasel, that one killed it. It wasn't her best rooster but she nursed him back to health, might not have the use of one of his feet. She found him frozen to the ground outside all tore up. Luckily her cemanis and crosses were in her workshop.

Where did you get your Giants?
