Dixie Chicks

Nice roo, @Beer can

Got a trio of those, not sure if we're keeping them... I think I prefer my Sulmtalers...

I was gonna go all "only breed birds with tiny combs" but EVERYONE wants Marans.. only a few people want my other stuff... and they don't care that my other stuff is mutts or not... Dominiques, rose comb leghorns.

Hang it from the roofs of 2 coops??? lol

I'd have to sink posts for it...
hahaha that could be fun...might get chicken visitors then into it..yeah will need to do cemented posts for the hammock here also,,,,,,,though MIGHT have a spot by the mancave behidn where the shop will be but not the place I want the hammock......nice lil hammock with a clear paneled rain guard over top..........hammock or a chair/bench swing I'm sure @Sharps Big 50 skillful lil fingers could create something awesome :)..ohh that reminds me got a new project I got to go about soon...am reupholstering my kitchen chairs found this nice thick heavy cottony fabric to redo them with that's navy blue

that almost foot of nasty wet stuff.. is sorta melting, but we are too cold for it to melt fast..

at least there isn't much ice.. so that is good.

I don't understand the whole marans fetish, most are not getting true 'chocolate eggers' the welsummer lays more eggs and are darker than other brown egg layers and has cool spots on their eggs.

I meant to say that I like the Sulmtaler coloring... but not the big combs

His coloring just amazes me... his comb is still growing on me... not a big fan either, those tend to look really crappy if they are slighly crooked, floppy, loose tips, etc... but his is really nice...

I just don't like how the 'paint' smears when the egg hits the nest box... :/
