I bought only 2... so the kids had to remind it how to eat EVERY 45 MINUTES!!!!

I think the males are... I'm not sure but I think outpost raises turkey's... Someone we know here does... Something we talked about back in the cold folks home...

they don't make much of any noise until they reach sexual maturity... at least I don't remember much noise

We raised 15 giant white turkeys. They are very calm and make less noise than chickens. The hens are sweethearts. They don't require a lot of room either. We had them in a 6'x20' fence outside with a cover on one end. They don't move much when they get big, but definitely more active than cornishx. Got them in the spring butchered in the fall, the toms were 50lbs dressed. Only need a three ft fence cause they don't fly.

Ok, did a lot of skimming so here's my best attempt at catch up.
No solar eclipse visible here but some very pretty northern lights.
Happy first day of spring to you to, snow forecast for tonight.
Yes, my girls play cabbage ball almost every time they get snowed in.
I used to hang it up but they seem to have more fun knocking it around.
I also hang kale stuffed into one of those wire suet feeders to suppliment their greens (or lack of)
My neighbor's two stupid toms spent all day yesterday strutting back and forth behind my run
and showing off trying to get my girls to pay attention to them. Stupid turkeys.

ok think I am gonna get 1 turkey chick and put em with the baby chicks so they teach it to eat... I probly wont leave it until fall but a couple months just a 20 30 pound I be happy with

I got flock raiser to raise the meat birds the turkey can eat flock raiser right?
