OK pix from my last excursion.

My truck infront of grandmas house.

Two horse drawn vehicles in my grandmas driveway. The wood one is made of hickory
the one with car tires is all steel... Couple of water tubs and some bits that need to
go to the house... Grandma wants me to call a junk man to haul it away.

I cant explain to her that its NOT junk.

Yep our hills are green those areas that are bright green are mostly Oat Hay and
Native grasses. Many yellow patches already indicating that its mature.

at home

Carport and Katee in the distance enjoying the sun.

front Entry.... the wind has demolished the gate.... sigh. another on the list of things to do.
Those pavers are what I want to replace with Stall mats... easier to traverse with with something
with wheels.

Living room/kitchen clean. Hole in the ceiling patched with dry wall those wires fed a Refrigerator
and a Furnace and a sconce light on a false wall. All capped with wire nuts and then wrapped with
electrical tape. They need to be pulled over to the left hand wall near the window.

The window on that wall is six feet wide and opens into my bedroom This is where I want to put the
Refrigerator. Flush with the pantry cabinets. The linoleum is painted terracotta And its chipping off the floor.
So it has to go eventually.

The hole in the floor corresponding to the hole in the ceiling is covered with three quarter inch plywood a remnant
of the bathroom remodel I want a kitchen Island in that spot

The bedroom.

In its defense I have never liked it even when it was reasonably clean
What look like smudges are about two years worth of cat foot prints on the mattress.
The mark on the wall was from my roommate leaning on it....

Painting on the sliding glass door... to the greenhouse room

View of the existing coop from the greenhouse room.
the mesh is a makeshift cover for the opening to the
greenhouse room. Half aviary wire and half chainlink.

Quote: LOL... I know its concern.... I just want to emphasize that I am not completely helpless.... Just limited till I can get the bleeping thing fixed. The bolt sheared off and that in my opinion is a design defect. The walker is rated for 400 lbs. they didn't use hardware that is appropriate for that claim. Oh the claim is correct it does support the weight but Static weight vs Dynamic weight becomes a different set of chriteria.

So I bought 1/4 -20 Stainless eye bolts and stainless nuts and washers. there will be a nut up against the eye and then a washer if it will fit then the bolt end will go through the linkage followed by a stainless washer or two then another nut. Then after that nut an additional nut to act as a Jam nut. All stainless. The other linkage will get the same hardware.

Then temporarily parachute cord will run between the eye bolts to replace the single bar that is being replaced. This will allow me to operate both linkages at the same time with one hand. To fold the walker up. the only function the bar served was to keep the linkages from being pulled together. So I will eventually replace that with a draw bar of some sort hooked to the eyes with links. I am deciding on weather to get some tubing or small diameter black pipe for this task. Either one can be affixed to the linkage easily.

If it all works well the last bit of hardware will be Nylock nuts to be certain nothing comes apart. I love Nylock nuts because no matter of vibration will cause them to back off.

kewl, looks like alot of work...sighs... I like your idea of an island is it gonna be a breakfast bar also?

Yes I have a dining room table... Its not appropriate here. So I want a surface that can be easily set for two or three people and still be able to get to the cabinets underneath. The one wide wall that ends at the animal cage will mark the edge of the counter top. I am taking living/dining space and giving it to the kitchen.
