So.... I was trying to buy Muscovy eggs...... Person said she would sell me some, she gathered eggs..... I said OK, how many did you get and how much?

3 dozen for $90 including shipping, I said OK, and sent her the money via Paypal.....

She didn't send me a tracking number,... I asked and a bit Later she responded that she had forgotten to mail them on Sat., the eggs would be too old Monday, she would collect again.... So now over a week has past, I asked about the eggs on Saturday... and Sunday, and Monday which is when I finally said I needed my money back, or I needed fresh eggs shipped and a tracking number, today she finally responded....

She said that the ducks hadn't been cooperating.... I said that I understood that animals don't always cooperate... But since this was an internet transaction (just through Paypal, no store front etc.) a week and a half was long enough... I needed my money back, or fresh eggs.

She snottily said that I probably wouldn't be satisfied no matter what she did.... So she would just refund me the money. I said that was splendid.

Either the lady is super naive, or was really trying to rob me...... No one does business that way.

Glad you got your money back. I sold a phone on ebay and after 2 days the buyer sends me an email saying where is her phone and where is the tracking number. I said the phone is mailed, You have the tracking number, and I can't help that uspsdoesn't put the tracking up timely sometimes. AND that I ship 2 day mail at my expense when I just need to ship economy. Can't please everyone. I have pleased many tho. There's always one......

OK just candled. 90 look fertile. 1 had a blood ring and the rest appear infertile but I left them just in case.

Sometimes I feel sorry for him... but then he goes out and plays golf or computer games so all is good. He's got his "hobbies" I have mine.

fully dry hatched... eggs from 3 broody's that kept stealing eggs... staggered hatch and no clue on due dates, lol...

I hate staggered hatches, but this just proofs that you don't have to mess with humidity on chicken hatches... Cute little fluff ball, hopefully it'll have a buddy soon!

exactly. It was easy and everything but the heart and lungs fell right out.

Good to know, like I said, my next quail hatch will be later this fall.

Oh... The lady DID refund my money

guess she is just naive... Not trying to rob me. Just in all my many internet egg buying, no one has held onto my money for longer than 24 hours before they ship... Usually 12 hours or less.

Anyway.... Now I again have no new muscovy.... I have one female duckling that I can keep for next year breeding.. To increase my females from two to three..... And of course I still have the male, and am raising up 8 other males, I will keep one as back up and eat the rest.

So yep... Super inbred flock... With two males and three females.

i might have a nicely sized duck coop, but clearly I will need TWO duck coops to keep 2 males and 3 females.

Yay for the returned money! There are lots of people here with muscovy ducks, if it wasn't for the border I could easily find you some eggs and ship them....

Really, after 2 days? People have no common sense anymore. Hopefully she won't leave you some kind of nasty feed back. Good luck with that customer.
