DIY Bator help

I can't screw something into styrofoam. So far the tape is fine, my eggs are also being kept to the other side because of that concern.
I'm sorry if I was rude. I probably took it wrong, but you came off as being passive aggressively rude. So I am sorry:( I hope it's okay.
Hm... hot glue then duck tape? Both of those together might give a bit more security.

I'm a big hot glue fan as I'm sure you can tell from my bator build.

Yes I did see that.
I've got double sided duct tape under the fan, then taped around the edge to keep it on.
I might tie it to the roof too, to take some weight off, using a tiny hook and some string.

My last incubator was a styrofoam, and it worked fairly well....I was able to screw things in with long screws just lightly pushing as I turned them by hand,if u pull on them hard enough they will come out though. Just a thought.
Bator looks nice!

I wouldn’t trust tape to hold up the bulb either. Glue, screws, pins, bolts drilled through the styrofoam and washered and nutted on the outside. Anything but tape.

That's what I do.
Run small bolt through styrofoam and use decent size washer and nut on outside. Washer will keep it from pulling through.
Small bolts, nuts and washers are cheap and a lot safer then tape and glue.

By picking and using the most appropriate wattage. I had to switch out the 40 watt bulb and use a 25. So far the 25 watt is doing well.
I don't need a thermostat. It just makes things easier.
You could find an old water heater and take out the thermostat and use that to turn the bulb on and off. Works pretty good actually. Used it in one of my fridge incubators I built once.
